There's no definite word from the team, but there are indications the Panthers aren't going to wait for LB Landon Johnson's MCL sprain to heal, and could put him on injured reserve as soon as this afternoon.
Johnson had played acceptably well in relief of the injured Thomas Davis, but suffered the injury in Thursday's loss to Miami.

If they make a move today, it will likely be with an eye toward shoring up their special teams. They recently had former Indianapolis LB Jordan Senn in for a visit/physical.
Senn was the Colts' second-leading ST tackler in 2008, when he made the team as an undrafted rookie from Portland State. He's bounced on and off the Colts' 53-man roster this year.
(Update: It's official now. They signed Senn, and placed Johnson on IR)
