Panthers WLB Thomas Davis was held out of practice again Friday (hamstring) and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Buffalo.
The Panthers can ill afford any setbacks to a defense that has improved, especially being without their leading tackler.
The rest of the Panthers on the report are questionable also, but practiced fully Friday: K Rhys Lloyd (ankle), RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles), FB Brad Hoover (back) and LB Na'il Diggs (ribs).
The Bills are equally banged up. QB Trent Edwards (concussion) has missed the entire week of practice, along with S Donte Whitner and DT Kyle Williams.
No Edwards means backup Ryan Fitzpatrick gets the start, while the absence of Williams and Whitner won't help a defense that walks in last in the league in run-stopping.
