The anticipated Panthers signing of return man Mark Jones is going to take at least another week.
Jones said Monday night there was an issue regarding his hamstring uncovered during his physical, and that it would be "about another week," before he'd be ready to go.

The veteran return man said he wasn't worried about the result, that he felt fine and should be cleared soon.
If they're not signing him now, they'll likely try to get through the week with either CB Captain Munnerlyn or WR Kenny Moore to handle punt returns. RB Mike Goodson's expected to handle kickoff returns, as he did through the preseason.
Panthers officials wouldn't comment on the Jones physical, consistent with their policy.
