Coach John Fox described it as part of the competitive process, rather than a final decision. Barnidge is more of a physical talent than King, but he's going to have to stay sharp to keep that job. King's steady (like a modern-day Kris Mangum), but Barnidge has the potential to turn into something more.

-- RB DeAngelo Williams was slow coming out of a pile this morning, and trainers were looking at his left foot. Fox said it was a toe problem, and nothing serious.
-- Despite the late start to camp (missing two days) Fox said they'd still likely get their 36 snaps of live scrimmage at tomorrow's Fan Fest practice.
-- LBs Jon Beason (hamstring) and Thomas Davis (knee) were still out, along with G C.J. Davis (ankle).
