After considerable waiting last night, word never came on unsigned first-rounder Jonathan Stewart. Now, they might have knocked something out and are waiting until we've had coffee to announce it, but as of now, it doesn't look good for him practicing this morning.
While the week began with one first-rounder under contract between picks four and 30, there was a flurry the last two days, with 14 deals made in the last 48 hours.
As it stands, Stewart (13th overall) is one of seven remaining unsigned first-rounders, along with Glenn Dorsey (5th), Sedrick Ellis (7th), Derrick Harvey (8th), Keith Rivers (9th), Leodis McKelvin (11th, and I like typing that name) and Chris Johnson (24th).
Stay tuned, as it promises to be a busy day down here.
