In a move expected since September, the Panthers signed a five-year extension with options for the future with Wofford College to host training camp.
The move was expected because the Panthers hired former Wofford AD Danny Morrison as team president, although no one thought they were going anywhere else anyway.

“We are very pleased to continue our long association with Wofford College,” Morrison said in a release issued by the team. “There is a strong bond between the team and the school and we do not think any team has better training camp facilities. It has been a mutually beneficial relationship and we are pleased that it will extend into the future.”
Morrison was instrumental in building many of those facilities, and wasn't going to let the opportunity to help both sides slip by.
Only three teams in the league have longer-standing camp arrangements (Pittsburgh, Green Bay and Minnesota).
