Panthers WR Steve Smith didn't exactly put any distance between himself and his "no longer a factor" statements from Sunday, but it's not as if it's something he's still fuming about.
"I want to win, but I also want to be involved in a win," Smith said.
Smith said he's talked to several people, including QB Jake Delhomme about his frustration with catching one pass for 4 yards in Sunday's win at Tampa Bay.
Delhomme shrugged through the topic Wednesday, saying "I can understand his frustration."
Fact is, the entire Panthers passing game is slow to catch up, after other facts of the team have in recent weeks (defense, run game).
Asked about the play-calling, Smith said: "I don't think it's fair for me to play offensive coordinator."
