The DT situation seems to be improving, slowly but surely.
Damione Lewis said he thought he might practice this afternoon, and it seemed like Maake Kemoeatu and Darwin Walker would be back soon as well.
They've also brought in a extra player, adding rookie DT Michael Marquardt. No word yet on who they cut to make room for him.
The 6-3, 298-pound Marquardt spent some time in Bengals camp this summer. He began at BYU, but finished his college career at Arizona State.
Also, Ian Scott was back in camp, walking in a huge brace on his left knee. He suffered a sprained MCL Wednesday, and figures to be out a few weeks.
