You should take encouragement that LG Travelle Wharton and RT Jeff Otah are OK.
The Panthers starters suffered knee sprains Sunday, which were described Monday as "nothing really serious," by John Fox.
The latest sign came Tuesday, when Jacksonville signed Milford Brown. The veteran blocker was one of the toughest cuts the Panthers made, and if the injuries were at all a concern, they'd have tried to keep him. The Jaguars needed him, losing both starting guards last week to injuries, but he seemed comfortable here, and if there had been an option, he might have hung around.
Now, they'll lean on Geoff Hangartner inside and Jeremy Bridges outside, and hope they don't have to use them again soon.
