Fort Mill splits two games: Fort Mill split a pair of games over the weekend in Lexington. Fort Mill defeated Waccamaw 5-2 in the opening game, but it lost to Lexington 3-1 in the second.

In the first game, Cassidy Parker led the way with four goals. She also handed out an assist on a goal scored by Jessica Bisner. Julia Van Buskirk, Graydon Nail and Hayley Hatherly had assists on three of Parker's goals.

Melissa Captini had one save in the net for Fort Mill. The Yellow Jackets defense allowed only two shots on goal.

In the second game in the tournament, Van Buskirk managed the only goal for Fort Mill. Lexington outshot Fort Mill 9-3 in the game. Taquisa Johnson had three saves for Fort Mill, and Chaptini recorded two.

York splits a pair: The Cougars split their games over the weekend. York lost to Lancaster 7-0 in the opening game, but it rebounded to defeat Chester by a score of 3-1.

Kara Powers, Kris Maloney and Val Mattingly each scored a goal for York in the victory over Chester. Mattingly, Hannah Barnwell and Gabby Garrison each had an assist for the Cougars.
