Area MS Society needs riders, volunteers

The Mid-Atlantic chapter of the National MS Society is looking for cyclists and volunteers from Rock Hill to participate or assist with the year's annual MS 150 Breakaway to the Beach Bike Ride to be Sept. 15 and 16 in Myrtle Beach.

The society is hoping to recruit more than 2,200 cyclists to pedal through Horry County on a two-day, 150-mile trek as part of a nationwide effort to fight multiple sclerosis.

Beginning at Broadway at the Beach, cyclists will ride between 35 and 100 miles each day, depending on the route they choose. Volunteers are also needed.
