Pets of the week: Meet Rusty and Simon
Animal shelter
Rusty (A070649) is neutered male, brown and black Anatolian shepherd mix just a over a year old. Rusty is good on a leash, knows sit and stay. He is a smaller dog, very sweet and might be house-trained.
Adoption fee is $77 and covers spay/neuter, microchip and age appropriate vaccinations.
See Rusty at the York County Animal Shelter, 713 Justice Blvd., York. Shelter hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Humane Society
Simon is an 8-month-old neutered shepherd terrier mix.
Simon is sweet but will need a little time to adjust and feel confident that he wouldn’t be hurt. He deserves a second chance.
Canine adoption fee is $180 which includes their spay/neuter, shots to date and any medical attention that was needed upon intake.
See Simon at the Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill. Adoption hours are 1-7 p.m. Tuesday and Friday; 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
