US Airways adds flights to Gulf Coast

CHARLOTTE -- US Airways has announced three new flights from Charlotte to cities on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

Starting April 7, US Airways will have daily service from Charlotte to Fort Walton Beach and Panama City, Fla. Nonstop flights to Gulfport/Biloxi, Miss., will begin May 5.

The airline will use 50-seat regional jets operated by US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines for the three daily flights to each city.

Charlotte is US Airways' largest hub, with more than 540 daily flights to 126 airports.
