Lake Wylie chamber plans spring luncheon

LAKE WYLIE -- The Lake Wylie Chamber's Spring Appreciation Day luncheon will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. April 23 at River Hills Country Club.

The luncheon will feature a fashion show by Alta of Rock Hill and River Hills Country Club Pro Shop, modeled by local female and male residents and business people. There will be music by pianist Carol Chase, favors for each attendee and door prizes.

The Spring Appreciation Day luncheon is designed for businesses to entertain or thank clients, customers, staff members and vendors. A corporate table for eight is $300 and includes a table sign with the company's name and acknowledgment in pre- and post-event publicity. Individual table seats are available at $20 per person.

T.K. Page new VP at Apple Tree Contractors

The board of directors of Apple Tree Contractors in Rock Hill recently appointed T.K. Page as vice president in charge of sales and marketing.

Page joined Apple Tree in August 2006 as a project manager, and he has more than 27 years of construction experience. He graduated from Clemson University in 1964 and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War before embarking upon a career in construction.
