Rock Hill Police are searching for a man who robbed a local credit union this afternoon.
The man walked up to a teller inside the Family Trust Federal Credit Union at 1615 Progress Way, off of Dave Lyle Boulevard at about 2:30 p.m., said Lt. Jerry Waldrop. “(He said) it was a robbery and demanded money from the bank teller,” Waldrop said.
Several customers and employees were inside the bank at the time of the robbery. The bank robber was handed an undisclosed amount of money.
Waldrop said the robber then walked out of the bank and walked up the steps to the operation center center next door and disappeared.
