Winning lottery ticket bought in Fort Mill area

A pair of winning South Carolina lottery tickets each worth $1 million -- including one of them bought in the Fort Mill area -- have yet to be claimed, lottery officials said Monday.

Two Powerball tickets matched five white ball numbers, and the PowerPlay option was bought, resulting in the two $1 million prizes. The other ticket was sold in the Pendleton area.

The winning white ball numbers were 12, 15, 28, 31 and 50. The red PowerBall was 12, and the PowerPlay was 5. No one hit the PowerBall jackpot, but across the state, 59,415 tickets matched at least one number to win a prize. For more information, visit sceducationlottery.com.
