Air Force

Airman James L. Wilcox, son of Marcia Gensbechler and stepson of David Gensbechler of Lancaster, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is a 2005 graduate of Buford High School in Lancaster County.

Army

Pfc. Nicholas H. Harris, son of Dolly Barnhart of Rock Hill and Marvin Harris of Chesnee, has graduated from basic training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

Army National Guard

Pvt. Jerry D. Farley, son of Michael Farley of Catawba and Pamela Farley of Fort Lawn, has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.

Army Reserve

Pvt. Marques O. Fee, son of Horace Fee of Rock Hill and Myra Fee of Muskogee, Okla., has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia. He is a 2005 graduate of Northwestern High School.

Navy

Charles D. Homesley Jr., son of Sheila G. Diegret of Clover and Charles D. Homesley Sr. of Anderson, recently enlisted in the Navy under the delayed entry program at Navy Recruiting District, Raleigh, N.C. He will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy's Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.

David R. Miller, a 2007 graduate of Fort Mill High School, recently enlisted under the delayed entry program at Navy Recruiting District, Raleigh, N.C. He will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy's Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.

Seaman Christopher K. Poole, son of Kim L. and stepson of John H. Gwynne of Rock Hill, recently completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

John D. Guidry, son of Barbara J. and Randy J. Guidry of Rock Hill, recently enlisted under the delayed entry program at Navy Recruiting District, Raleigh, N.C. He will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy's Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill. Guidry is a 2006 graduate of Rock Hill High School.

Alexanandre M. Savoie, son of Debra and Richard Savoie of York, recently enlisted under the delayed entry program at Navy Recruiting District, Raleigh, N.C. He will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy's Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill. Savoie is a 2007 graduate of York Comprehensive High School.

John D. Waugh III, son of Melanie and John D. Waugh of Rock Hill, recently enlisted under the delayed entry program at Navy Recruiting District, Raleigh, N.C. He will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy's Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.

Darin J. Morrison, son of Brenda C. and Johnny Morrison of Fort Mill, recently enlisted under the delayed entry program at Navy Recruiting District, Raleigh, N.C. He will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy's Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.

Jhad X. Crawford, a 2007 graduate of Northwestern High School, recently enlisted under the delayed entry program at Navy Recruiting District, Raleigh, N.C. He will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy's Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.

Navy constructionman recruit Charles D. Harris Jr., son of Terry A. Harris and Charles D. Harris, both of Lancaster, recently reported for duty with Naval Construction Training Center Detachment, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He is a 2007 graduate of Lancaster High School and joined the Navy in February.

Reunions

The USS Nimitz (CVN-68), Association is searching for shipmates (ship's company, staff, squadrons and detachments) who served on board the nuclear attack aircraft carrier for a ship's reunion in Nashville, Tenn., June 19 through 22, 2008.

The Nimitz is deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
