Some high school students will be participating in the Olde English Consortium's 10th-grade Junior Scholars Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Baxter Hood Center at York Technical College.
About 250 sophomores who have been chosen by their school districts as junior scholars will be involved.
Students will be recognized for their academic achievements and be exposed to a college environment while taking part in learning activities. Workshops will focus on using technology to solve critical issues.
The Olde English Consortium is a group of school districts that tries to promote excellence in education through collaboration.
