York County authorities are looking for a man whom they say broke into a Fort Mill home earlier this month and struggled with a 15-year-old girl who was inside the residence.
The girl was home alone when a man broke into a house on Beacon Knoll Lane in the Bailiwyck subdivision around 11:30 a.m. June 13, according to the York County Sheriff's Office.
The girl told police that she struggled with the intruder and stabbed him in the neck with a fork, according to a press release issued by the sheriff's office Thursday.
The suspect threatened to stab the teen and left with watches and jewelry, the release states.
