YORK -- The York County Registration and Elections Office will run a public test of the optical scan voting system this week.
The optical scan test will be performed at 11 a.m. Friday at the E.C. Black Building, 13 S. Congress St.
The test, which is open to the public, is part of preparations for the Nov. 4 general election, which includes the presidential race and dozens of local and state contests.
