A limited number of special “upper tier” concert tickets will be available for both events. The upper tier area includes catered food, a cash bar and private indoor restrooms. Those tickets are $65 for Grand Funk Railroad and $75 for Wynonna.
The amphitheater holds 1,000 people and includes floor and terrace seating.
City officials planned to announce this year’s summer concert series lineup Wednesday, the first day of ticket sales, but information was posted in advance on the amphitheater’s website.
In a news release posted online, city officials pointed out that last year’s concerts featuring 1980s rocker Rick Springfield and country star Clint Black brought the largest crowds for the series so far.
“We are excited about the level of talent coming to the Old Town Amphitheater this concert season. It will not disappoint,” Downtown Development Manager Cathy Murphy said in the news release.
