A Fort Mill food and drink spot is filling up with a wine bar opening soon
A wine bar expects to open in the spring at Gold Hill Crossing in Fort Mill.
The Social Cork Wine Bar will open in a 1,400-square-foot space at 887 Gold Hill Road, Charlotte-based commercial real estate company MPV Properties said in a news release. The shopping center is at the intersection of Gold Hill and Pleasant roads, near the Gold Hill interchange off Interstate 77.
The wine bar joins Saltwater Markets, which opened its third location in September at Gold Hill Crossing. The other locations are in Clover and Gastonia, N.C.
Another business, TWF Burgers is under construction at the center. It’s expected to open early next year, The Herald previously reported.
“We believe the concept will complement Saltwater Markets and TWF Burgers, as well as bringing more options to the surrounding communities,” Robbie Adams with MPV Properties said.
Social Cork will offer artisanal wines from around the world along with flights and small bites.
