A North Carolina woman who came to Clover for St. Patrick’s Day weekend ended up winning $250,000 from a lottery ticket.

“Pinch me!” she told her family showing off the winning Lady Luck scratch-off, according to a release from the South Carolina Education Lottery. She bought the $10 ticket at Jakob Food Mart on North Main Street in Clover.

She plans to pay off her house with the winnings.

And her family members that affectionately call her a “Lucky Leprechaun” want to start a new tradition.

“Every St. Patrick’s Day we are going to celebrate this win,” she told lottery officials.

For selling the claimed ticket, Jakob Food Mart in Clover received a commission of $2,500.
