Platinum Cuts wants to make it two in a row – but it needs your help.

Platinum Cuts, with its flagship barbershop on Saluda Street in Rock Hill and another off Carowinds Boulevard in Fort Mill, won the Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards, known as the “Hoodies” for America's best barbershop in 2015.

The shop, owned by Adrian “Ace” McCrorey, beat out shops from much larger cities. But to get back to the final four, the shop needs to be nominated by its fans and supporters.

Best barbershop voting is from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. Tuesday. Nomination for the best barbershop is all day Tuesday at Neighborhoodawards.com.

Platinum Cuts, in business 18 years, is known for its philanthropy and giving back to the community, and McCrorey hopes that the shop can again show the entire nation that Platinum Cuts is No. 1.
