A local man won $250,000 off a scratch-off lottery ticket he bought at The Country Store on Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill, according to lottery officials.
The man declined to be identified.
“I love playing the Lottery,” the man told officials, according to a press release sent Wednesday.
The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Country Store received a commission of $2,500. As of the release, only one other top prize of $250,000 remains in the ($10) $250,000 Jackpot game.
