York Farmers Market seeking vendors, will open April 17

The downtown York Farmers Market opens April 17, bringing a touch of the country, to the heart of the city.

Create a sustainable lifestyle or just come to shop and enjoy a Saturday morning with your family, friends and neighbors in beautiful, historic, downtown York. 

The market provides the community with fresh, seasonal, local and mountain grown fruits and vegetables, herbs, flowers, honey, and eggs.  As well as handmade crafts, candles, soap, leather goods, pottery and more.

Every Saturday morning, the market will be transformed into a creative, educational, homey and lively community gathering place. The market is free to vendors and to the public. The market will feature live, local entertainment, an Earth Day celebration, "Ask a Master Gardner," "Wellness Day," a tractor show and Farm day, Ask a Chef cooking demonstrations, bake sales, face painting, horse drawn carriage rides, and seasonal events.

Non-profits, scouts, and church groups are invited to participate with hot dog sales, bake sales, lemonade stand, etc. Local clubs, churches and businesses are invited to have information booths as well.
