BI-LO Charities recently donated $62,990 to nine area non-profit organizations that address children’s needs, education and hunger relief in the local community. They include York Place, the Episcopal Home for Children, and the Clover Area Assistance Center.\
York Place received more than $9,800. The Clover Area Assistance Center received $5,300.
All funds donated came from the 27th Annual BI-LO Charity Classic held last June in Greenville.
“The mission of BI-LO Charities is to support the children’s charities, education and hunger relief efforts in every community in which BI-LO operates,” said BI-LO Charities Executive Director Carol Browning. “Our goal is to provide funding for projects that provide meaningful and sustainable change in our communities, and we are honored to partner with organizations that help address critical needs at the local level.”
