Someone fired at least five times toward a Clover home while a woman and two children were inside Thursday.
The 48-year-old Clover woman was walking from the kitchen to a hallway, where two young children were, when multiple shots were fired into the home, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report. She told the children, 2 and 4, to hit the ground.
A neighbor told police he could hear the shots and saw a small, midnight-blue-colored car driving away from the woman's home, the report states. The vehicle left in the direction of S.C. 274.
Five bullet holes were found in the woman's car, the report states. A tree next to the car also had three bullet holes in it, and at least two more were found in the home's porch and front door. Debris from the ceiling and wall littered the couch in the living room.
