Earlier on Thursday, Santorum will hold a closed meeting with area pastors. On Friday, Santorum heads to campaign events in Greenville and Spartanburg.
Rock Hill is Santorum's first stop in South Carolina after a fourth-place finish in an Iowa straw poll this month where he won 9.8 percent of the vote. Santorum trailed straw poll winner U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, runner-up U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, and third-place finisher former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who has since left the race for the GOP presidential nomination.
Santorum's appearance this week marks his second stop in York County since he joined the race. He spoke at Winthrop University in July.
