York Police are investigating claims that a 16-year-old girl was drugged and raped, according to a York Police report.
The report states a 20-year-old Blacksburg man who knew the victim allegedly entered the teen’s bedroom around 1 a.m. Oct. 20 and gave her an unknown drug. He then attempted to have sex with the girl, but she refused. The report states the girl eventually became disoriented because of the drugs and allowed the man to have sex with her.
The teen’s mother discovered the man in bed with her daughter the next morning. He fled the home, and the mother reported the crime to police. The report states the girl received medical treatment and police collected evidence related to the crime.
No arrests were made, but the case is under investigation.
