AJAX Rolled Ring & Machine has announced a 15,000-square-foot expansion of its York facilities and the eventual addition of 25 jobs.
The expansion will bring nine new jobs to the area in 2012. The $2-million facility is the first significant plant expansion at AJAX since the plant opened York in 1980.
AJAX Rolled Ring & Machine is a premier supplier to the North American industrial ring rolling market, according to a company news release.
The new facility will expand AJAX’s machining capacity and capabilities, and will allow AJAX to supply finish-machined rings to customers.
