A vehicle crashed into the Dollar General Sunday afternoon in Sharon causing significant damage to the front entrance.
Witnesses say a driver in her 70s mistook the gas for the brakes and the car rolled into the store at 3272 York St. Workers sectioned off the damaged area and the store remained open.
Per company policy, the store's manager would not provide additional information.
It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries. A police report was unavailable Sunday evening.

This is the second time this week that a vehicle has crashed into a business.
On Wednesday, a woman driving a BMW wagon mistook the gas for the brake, and her car rolled through the patio area and into the front of McAlister's Deli on Dave Lyle Boulevard in Rock Hill.
