Someone stole 400 pounds of corn from a Clover man’s barn Sunday, police say.
The 89-year-old man saw surveillance footage of two men stealing the shell corn from his Dunlin Road barn about 10 a.m. Sunday, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report. The man was in church during the time of the robbery.
A total of four 100-pound bags were taken, the report states. They’re worth about $80.
One of the culprits was wearing blue jeans and a green “Upward Referee” T-shirt, the report states. The other thief was wearing a light blue T-shirt with dark blue shorts with a light blue stripe.
