Clover’s Crawford sets record at York County track meet

Clover High School’s Dennis Crawford set a new record in the 110-meter hurdles in last week’s York County Track Meet named in honor of legendary track coach Bob Jenkins.

Crawford finished with a record time of 14.60. He also placed first in the 400 hurdles with a 56.60 time.

The Blue Eagles’ Jai Littlejohn won the triple jump with a 44’ 10.25” leap.

Trey Childress placed second in the 200 meters at 21.90 and the Clover boys 4x400 relay team finished second at 3:29.50.In the girls competition, Clover’s Lajetta Adams won the shot put with a 99.3 heave and teammate Lauren Richardson was second at 99.8.
