A Clover man says another man fraudently purchased several laser cutting tools from him this month, later cancelling his payment but keeping the tools.
A Texas man phoned Lasercare Inc., a Clover business, and asked about purchasing four laser-cutting parts, including 80 nozzles and three lenses, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report. After a price quote, the man agreed and purchased them.
The entire transaction was over the phone, the report states.
The parts were shipped to the Texas man, who used a credit card through a Google checkout system, according to the report. After the parts were shipped, the man canceled the payment.
