A York man says an armed man broke into his home, holding him at gunpoint while he took jewelry, medication and cash.
About 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, the 39-year-old victim was listening to music in his Bentwood Lane home when a man walked up to the door, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report. He opened the door, and the intruder pushed his way into the home. A second man waited at the door, propping it open with his foot.
The intruder held a gun to the man’s chest and said he wanted money, the report states. The victim gave the man $80.
The suspect also took jewelry from the man’s wife’s jewelry box and an assortment of pills, including medications used to treat insomnia and high blood pressure, the report states.

The two men left in an older model Oldsmobile Cutlass, according to the report.
