York baseball’s Davis receives dual honors

York Comprehensive High School’s Keith Davis, a perfect-game hurler and one of the top hitters in the upstate, has been selected for the North-South All-Star Baseball game June 14-16 at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach.

In addition to achieving all-star status, Davis has been named to the Class AAA All-State team, determined by a vote of coaches from across the state.

“We are proud of Keith,” said head baseball coach Scot Kiggans. “He is very deserving of all-state and all-star recognition.”
