Clover women allege assault, shooting

Two Clover women told deputies they were assaulted by three other women who fired shots at them on Sunday.

Police have issued warrants for Charlina McKinney, 20; Tikierra Anderson, 29; and Sakeema Jones, 20, after they allegedly attacked two sisters at a Generation Lane home.

One of the victims said that shortly before 7 p.m., four women in a Ford Explorer pulled up beside the house while she was inside. The victim’s sister and a 3-month-infant were outside, according to a York County Sheriff’s report.

The woman said she went outside and McKinney, Anderson, and Jonesallegedly assaulted her and her sister.

Jones allegedly hit the woman’s sister in the face with a 9mm handgun. The gun flew out of Jones’ hand and was picked up by a male on scene who did not become involved in the assault, according to the report. .

Both victims’ family members rushed outside and stopped the fight, the report states.

McKinney, Anderson and Jones left in the Ford Explorer. As they were driving away, someone in the car allegedly shot at the family, according to the sheriff’s report.

Family members told deputies they witnessed the assault and one of the women firing a gun.

Deputies found a 9mm shell casing in the roadway, according to the report.
