York police vehicle recognized in national magazine

The York Police Department's new patrol vehicle has been recognized for its design in a national magazine.

The department's new Tahoe was recognized in the August issue of "Law and Order" magazine. The vehicle did not win the contest, but was chosen by readers for the annual People Choice Award, beating out more than 500 other entries, said Police Chief Andy Robinson. Said Robinson: "We are proud to have been selected as the favorite vehicle of the voters, and would like to thank all those who voted for our vehicle!"
