Following recent appointments of new principals at several Clover schools, four schools will have new assistant principals next year.
George Smith, who is finishing his first year in Clover, is moving from Larne Elementary to Crowders Creek Elementary where he will re-join Georgia Westmoreland. Smith, who has 13 years of experience, has previously taught in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Orangeburg, and Palm Beach County, Fla.
Richard Eppes, who is finishing his second year in Clover, is moving from Clover Middle to Kinard Elementary. Before arriving in Clover, Eppes was a sixth-grade math teacher at Gold Hill Middle School in Fort Mill for 12 years.
Vickie Stine, who has worked in Clover for 10 years, is moving from Bethany Elementary to Clover Middle, where she will re-join Calub Courtwright whom she worked alongside at Bethany for the past three years as an assistant principal. Stine previously taught at Crowders Creek Elementary before serving for four years as an assistant principal at Cramerton Middle School in Gaston County.

Nicole Thompson, who for the past two years has led the Clover High Ninth Grade Academy, will move to Oakridge Middle as an assistant principal. Thompson has 15 years of experience in Clover, including 13 as an English teacher at Clover High.
This round of transactions creates vacancies at Bethany, Griggs Road, and Clover High, all of which are expected to be filled later this month.
