Farm to table dinner, auction planned

Providence Care Foundation, along with Bush-N-Vine and chef Erin McManus, will host a Farm to Table dinner and silent auction, 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Bush-N-Vine, 1650 Filbert Highway, York.

Providence Care provides help to indigent and homebound seniors in Lake Wylie, Rock Hill, Fort Mill and parts of Chester and Lancaster counties.

York Rotary to host beach bash benefit

The York Rotary Club will host the second annual Upstate Beach Bash at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Garden Cafe, 207 W. Liberty St., York.

The event is a benefit for the Early Learning Partnership of York County to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

Tickets are $25 each for dinner and a cash bar, with dancing and live music by The Catalinas.

Joy 4 Tots ride planned for Clover

The 10th annual Joy 4 Tots Ride will be 2 p.m. Nov. 9.

The ride will begin at the Oakridge Community Building and end at Roosevelt Park. Bring one toy per biker. Refreshments will be served.

YMCA plans ski trip for next year

The Upper Palmetto YMCA annual family ski trip to Aspen/Snowmass, Colo., will be Jan. 14-19.

The group will stay at the Timberline Condominiums in Snowmass. The package includes a range of rooming options for five nights; transfers to and from the airport, and from the airport to Timberline; luggage service; four-day lift ticket to Snowmass, Aspen, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk ski areas; shuttle service from Snowmass to Aspen; and a welcome reception and slope-side picnic.

Good Folks plan December luncheon

Good Folks of York County’s annual fundraising luncheon will be Dec. 2 at the DiGiorgio Center on the Winthrop University campus to benefit Keystone Substance Abuse Services’ planned Youth and Adolescent Center.
