Jill Annette Estes of Overland Park, Kansas married William Herman Bowers Jr. of Raytown, Missouri at 2:30 p.m. May 24, 2008 at Salem Presbyterian Church.
The bride is the daughter of Madison and Annette Estes of Hickory Grove.
The groom is the son of William Sr. and Cower Bowers of Durban, South Africa.
The Rev. Russ Ramsey and William Bowers Sr. officiated the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a white gown accented by appliqués of small pearls and beads and a cathedral length train. She carried a bouquet of pink roses grown by her parents. Maid of Honor was Laura Muckerman and Matron of Honor was Beth Plumblee. They wore a navy blue floor length gown with a rhinestone brooch.
Bridesmaids were Lori Estes, Ann Bowers, Jessica Thomson, Mary Elizabeth Becker, Michelle Sanders, Joy Bryant, Suzanne Williams and Caroline Berry. They also wore a navy blue floor length gown with a rhinestone brooch.
Groomsmen/ ushers were Woody LaRue, Ryan Heldenbrand, Nathan Rogers, Steven Rogers, Eric Shertz, Mattthew Williams and Jordan Thomson.
Flower girl was Hanna Joy Morgan. Ring bearer was Hyden Shertz.
The bride's mother wore a silver two piece tea length gown. The groom's mother wore a light blue two piece tea length gown.
Church decorations were white satin pew bows and the windows had hurricane globes with white candles.
A reception was held at Mt. Vernon Church Fellowship Hall in Hickory Grove.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will live in Olathe, Kansas.
The bride graduated from Winthrop University and is employed at home. The groom graduated from William Jewel College and is employed at Shook, Hardy and Bacon Law Library.
