Easter Egg hunt

YORK -- York Parks and Recreation Department and Bi-Lo are sponsoring an Easter Egg hunt and egg dyeing, Saturday, April 11, at the York Recreation Complex on Fourth Street. The egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. and the egg dyeing begins at noon. Both events are for ages 12 and under and are free. Children should bring their own Easter basket.

Bi-Lo will sell hot dogs, chips, drink and a Little Debbie Cake for $2 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., all proceeds benefit York Place.

Career Fair

ROCK HILL -- The Catawba Region Career Fair Committee is seeking businesses anticipating hiring employees within the next six months for a career fair, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, at Rock Hill's Old Town Amphitheater at the City Hall complex on Black Street.

Coordinated by the Catawba Regional Workforce Investment Board, the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation and other sponsors, event organizers anticipate more than 1,000 job seekers attending the free event. There is no cost to attendees or exhibitors.

Exhibitors will be allowed to begin setting up displays at 8 a.m. the morning of the fair. Tents, tables and chairs will be provided, as well as coffee, juice, doughnuts and lunch.

Companies interested in participating must turn in a completed registration form by Friday, April 17. Forms and more information is available at www.catawbaonestop.com.
