Whiskey, pills stolen from Clover home

Someone broke into a Clover man's home this weekend and stole two bottles of whiskey and some pills, according to police.

The 53-year-old victim arrived home Sunday night to find his lights on and his house ransacked. The back door was open and the frame damaged at the house in the 1500 block of Burrell Road.

He noticed two $14 bottles of whiskey missing from his kitchen cabinet. Then he checked his bedroom to find his Diazepam (Valium) and blood pressure medicine missing. Police couldn't lift fingerprints, but found a ripped pair of latex gloves in a dresser drawer. The suspect is unknown.
