Anglers Fish for a Cure on Lake Wylie

The annual Fishing for a Cure tournament was held March 30 on Lake Wylie, with launch and weigh-in at Buster Boyd Access Area.

“We had 26 teams turn out for the Western York County Breast Cancer Awareness Fishing for a Cure Tournament,” said organizer Erwin Gaston. “Thanks to all who came out, we were able to raise $625 for the charity.”

Josh Garner and Scott Willis were the winners with five bass weighing in at 20 pounds.
