CLOVER The Clover High School varsity baseball team defeated York 4-0 before a large crowd Friday at the CHS baseball complex.

“We were able to minimize our mistakes against York,” said head coach Darrell VanDyke. “Patrick Love pitched a good game for us.”

The Cougars threatened to score in the top of the seventh when Will Prince and Harrison Childers delivered back-to-back singles, but the rally fell short.
