The Thursday Night Tournament Trail had another good turnout with 45 boats and beautiful weather April 24, said Erwin Gaston, who co-organizes the event with Jeremy Cabe.
“The lake is full and the water is muddy up the lake and stained down the lake,” Gaston said. “The shad are close to the banks setting up to spawn and the bass are feeding.
“The baits of choice it seems is the buzz baits, chatter baits and wake baits,” he said.
Ron Farrow and Roger Farrow brought in five Lake Wylie bass weighing in at 17.30 pounds to take the win, with Adam Philmore and Tyler Brown bringing in 16.31 pounds to take second.
