The Billy Graham Library hosts a military exhibit through the end of the month.

Displayed in The Ministry gallery of the Journey of Faith tour is memorabilia collected by Graham during decades of trips abroad ministering to U.S. troops including: “I Saw Your Sons At War,” a book written by Graham based on his time in Korea; boots issued to Graham for Korea’s 30-below weather; the Marine Corps medallion presented to Graham in May 2003; Desert Storm Bible given to Graham in 1991 when he preached at the Pentagon; and silver cross pin worn on Graham’s cap while visiting troops in Korea during Christmas 1952.

In 1944, Graham was headed toward a military career as a chaplain in the Army when a case of the mumps disqualified him from service.
