CHARLOTTE The Billy Graham Library will hold the following events:
• 8:30 a.m. Oct. 24: Pastors Breakfast. Pastors are invited to enjoy a fellowship, prayer and an encouraging word, along with pastries and coffee. Each pastor in attendance will receive a token of appreciation. Advance registration is encouraged. Admission is free.

• 9 a.m. Nov. 8: Sharing God’s Love Day. Children in kindergarten to fifth grade will explore how to share God’s love through an interactive library tour. Participants will be served doughnuts and beverages, and receive a gift. Registration is required. Admission is free.
• 8 a.m. Nov. 11: Veteran’s Day Breakfast. Military veterans are invited to a complimentary continental breakfast, special guest speaker and guided Journey of Faith tour. Registration is required. Admission is free.
• 2-3:30 p.m. Nov. 15: Book Signing with James and Shirley Dobson. James Dobson, founder and president of Family Talk, and his wife, chairwoman of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, will greet guests and sign copies of their latest books. Books will be available for purchase in Ruth’s Attic bookstore, or bring your own. Limit of two signed items per person.
On Fridays through November, guests who present a Journey of Faith ticket stub, upon completion of the tour, will receive free coffee at the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar.
The library is open 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Admission to the library and the Journey of Faith is free.

Artists invited to church Fall Bazaar
LAKE WYLIE River Hills Community Church Fall Bazaar Committee will showcase the work of Lake Wylie artists from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 1.
There are no entry fees, with a maximum of five entries per artist to be received 1-4 p.m. Oct. 22.
Art must be two-dimensional framed art or gallery-wrapped canvas ready to be hung, with 60 percent of sales going to the artist and 40 percent to church missions.
Matted, unframed art or shrink-wrapped work including notecards will be sold with 50 percent to the artist and 50 percent to church missions.
People’s Choice Awards will be awarded. First place will receive $100, second $75 and third $25. There will be three honorable mentions. Voting will be held after each Oct. 26 service.

Donate to Coats for Kids
LAKE WYLIE The Knights of Columbus Council and Respect for Life Ministry of All Saints Catholic Church are accepting donations for Coats for Kids to provide winter coats to children in need.
For $220, the groups can provide coats to 12 children in York County.
The Knights of Columbus began this initiative in 2009 to help families with children living in colder climates who were impacted by the economic downturn. Knights across the country have given away more than 167,000 coats. About 2,000 local Knights of Columbus councils have participated in their communities.
Last winter was a record year for the Order’s Coats for Kids program. During that time, 1,195 councils and the Supreme Council purchased and donated 51,924 coats.

Healing service at Good Samaritan
LAKE WYLIE The Divine Healing Ministry Chapter of the International Order of St. Luke holds a healing service 3 p.m. the fourth Saturday of the month at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 5220 Crowders Cove Road.
Community Cafe serves lunch Tuesdays
LAKE WYLIE The Community Cafe offers free weekly lunches 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly.
The Cafe at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church in Fort Mill serves lunch 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays.

Dine for H.O.P.E.
LAKE WYLIE The Waffle House-Lake Wylie and Knights of Columbus of All Saints Council No. 14475 are raising money for Operation Helping Other People Everyday, a statewide campaign to help people with intellectual disabilities.
On the first Monday of each month, Waffle House will donate 20 percent of its proceeds to Operation HOPE. Details: 803-746-5464.
