President Obama will watch Sunday’s Super Bowl at the White House with friends and family after a pregame interview with game host, NBC.
The interview will be aired live at about 4:30 p.m., Press Secretary Josh Earnest said.
Obama is “always rooting for the Chicago Bears,” who, Earnest noted are “not in the game yet again.”
Obama will sit on the sidelines, instead, Earnest said, noting that Obama told House Democrats Thursday that he wasn't going to choose sides, but was “just hoping for a good game.”
